Job Description
10 years’ experience
7 years of experience in Java
Worked extensively in a Java, Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, Hadoop environment
Experience with any RDBMS technology, preferably mySQL
Experience should include analysis, development and review of code components
Experience building standalone applications
Versant with most of the open source technologies - flume etc.
Good to have :
Experience with Hadoop - Hive, Pig, Oozie,
Experience with Python, Teradata and MySQL
Experience with Agile methodology for software development
Reporting tools like Tableau, Spotfire
Responsibilities:
Develop software using technologies such as Java, Hive, Pig and related tools.
Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs, such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or control ling other equipment.
Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
Perform unit testing and assist with integration testing
Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users.
Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer.
Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs.
Assist in system and user testing Fix errors and bugs that are identified in the course of testing.
Qualifications: 5-10 years’ experience; bachelor’s degree
Should be proficient in Enterprise Data Management, Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture and Software Engineering Lifecycle.
Should have progressing skills on Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design
