Job Description
As a Technology Lead, you will plan for and ensure quality and timeliness of activities related to design, build and implementation of work product, provide regular guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution. You will participate in requirements elicitation, analysis of architecture, create and review design and contribute to activities related to estimation, solutioning and risk planning. You will act as a mentor to the project team in developing optimized high quality deliverables. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. Qualifications Basic • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education • At least 7-9+ years of experience in Big Data advance analytics platform\environment. Preferred • At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Cassandra with advanced level expertise • UNIX\Linux scripting knowledge is a MUST • Good working experience in core JAVA is a MUST • Good development working knowledge in Couchbase, SOLR, Kafka • Working knowledge on Hadoop architecture, Pig and Hive scripting Preferred • Experience in Cassandra on upgrade and cluster maintenance • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment Analytical skills • Experience to Retail, CPG domain • Analytical skills • Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel 1) Cassandra admin skills - NOT A MUST. But a good hands-on resource required, with an upgrade and cluster maintenance experience + Cassandra application support 2) Java skill set - is a MUST and if the resource has a Java + Cassandra advanced level expertise that will be the ideal candidate
