Will create use cases, develop and maintain test specifications, test cases, test scripts and test data.
Will implement test practices, standards and processes, troubleshoot test issues, record test results, track and prioritize defects, participate in product readiness and release decisions.
Will also establish fact based measures of test efficiency, effectiveness and product readiness.
Responsible for estimating, coordinating and directing testing for multiple products/projects.
Software quality assurance on highly complex and/or multiple projects, including manual test case execution, defect tracking, test plan/test case creation and management, and requirements analysis is required. Software development experience as a Client/Server Application Developer or Web Application Developer (J2EE) is preferred but not
Additional Job Details: What you’ll do:
This is Integration Quality Assurance Engineer role based in Denver, CO in the Architecture and Frameworks team in CSIM Technology.
The role involves creating automated testing for ETL frameworks and data services layer for our Data warehouse, CSIM technology applications and integrations.
It will include providing quality assurance support for the dynamic needs of the CSIM business.
The individual will be playing a pivotal role in the development of automation testing for web services, APIs and ETL application, our investment management solutions and later SaaS applications.
Key part of the job will involve software design and implementation of new interfaces and integrations to third party systems leveraging integration best practices, TDD and BDD methodologies.
What you have: This role requires a highly motivated and experienced tester with pride of ownership reflected through clean design, code quality and a disciplined software development approach. Qualifications & Experience: - A university degree from a well-respected academic institution; advanced degrees in Information management, Computer Science, and/or other professional certifications are a plus - Prior experience writing SQL queries and SOA test
At least 3 years of experience API and web services (REST/SOAP) testing experience, JSON, XML - Experience with automation testing for ETL (Extract Transform and Load) applications –
At least 5 years’ experience participating in the software development lifecycle leveraging the latest methodologies and industry applicable technologies, fluent in C# or Java - Experience with BDD and TDD methodologies is a plus –
Experience with Functional automation with Selenium is a plus –
Experience testing Informatica or Informatica DVO –
Experience with testing Java, Spring boot or c# applications –
Hands on experience in developing tests automations and testing cloud-native enterprise applications in public or private cloud applications is a plus –
Prior development experience with writing Java or C# - Proven record of delivering technology solutions within agreed upon timeframes
