Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: St. Louis, MO
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Rate: $40/Hr On C2C/1099
Start Date: April 4th
Must Haves:
Ability to translate business processes and gaps into technical flow and requirements
Strong data analysis skills
Strong SQL skills (Stored procedures, driver queries, etc.)
Significant experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with large databases such as Oracle and/or DB2
Understanding of Unix (basic commands/ability to log into a Unix server)
Some basic understanding of ETL process for databases (They won’t have to do any ETL but will be working with the ETL developers)
Experience in testing and data validation (They use Quality Center)
Good understanding of data quality assurance processes and procedures
Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
Plusses:
Understanding of database design/data modeling
Experience in Financial Services industry
D2D: Our client is looking for 2 strong data analyst to join their team. This role will be responsible for understanding and analyzing complex business & data requirements. They will prepare detailed functional specifications that drive the design of data model and ETL solutions for data warehouse. This includes developing a broad understanding of the upstream and downstream systems and processes, including impact and gap analysis of current databases and reporting systems. They will perform data analysis using a variety of SQL tools to query major databases and provide technical assistance as subject matter expert in identifying, evaluating and developing data solutions that meet business requirements. They will help with data validation and testing approach, systems testing, and provide post production support to the data quality processes. Lastly, they will provide training, resolve questions, and give direction to less experienced staff.
