Job Responsibilities

The Java developer will be part of Digital Services team working on Application development. Java developer should have expertise on the latest open source software, technologies and methodologies as well as understand challenges of cloud deployments in continuous integration environment. As this is a fullstack developer requirement, expertise in relational databases preferably SQL server is required.

 

Mandatory Skills

·         Professional experience, including product development, solutions architecture, design, and delivery

·         Capable of quickly evaluating and incorporating new technologies

·         Experience developing generalized reusable software components

·         Ability to establish and nurture long term relationships with senior level customer engineers

·         Assist in project planning.

·         Perform design and code reviews to ensure design principles are followed through the implementation of a project.

·         Experience in different Architectural Styles like MVC Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture. Microservices Architecture is a plus

·         Experience and in-depth knowledge with ORM or persistence frameworks such as Hibernate, iBATIS, JPA & experience with Oracle or Postgres database

·         Experience with REST Web Services

·         Experience with Docker & Kubernetes is a plus

·         Experience with Agile development methodology, Extreme Programming
