Sr. Software Developer
Location: Irvine CA (REMOTE)
Contract: 12 months plus
Rate: $75/hr c2c all inclusive
Required EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
· Python Development
· AWS Lamda
· API Development
· Cloud Platform Technologies (ex: AWS, Azure, OpenShift, etc)
· Spring Framework
· ETL Development
· PostgreSQL
· Experience mentoring other team members
· Effective written & verbal communication across all organizational levels
Responsibilities and essential functions:
· Supports the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including development, testing, code review, code promotion, and operational support for the product in production
· Designs data related and integration solutions by translating business data and non-functional requirements into detailed technical designs
· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, management, and vendors to ensure project execution meets project timelines & business needs
· Hands-on software design and development of integration processes (ETL), web services (API), application UX/UI design, and data integration
· Provide technical leadership, expertise, and mentoring to team members and onsite/offsite contractors
· Develops Proof of Concepts when needed
· Promotes a DevOps culture where the team is expected and empowered to own each aspect of the development, promotion, and operational support of their application/service
· Develop and/or collaborate on test strategies, automation frameworks, and write unit and functional tests to improve code quality and automatic testing capabilities
· Provide production support assistance to L2/L3 support and L3 application teams in support of integration components and jobs
· Effectively utilize collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.) to ensure the overall success of the team
