Position: Oracle PL/SQL Developer 

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6 Months

 

NOTE: Face-to-face technical interview is mandatory

Description:

 

Job Duties:

   •     Use complex algorithms to develop systems & applications that deliver business functions 

   •     Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex algorithms.

   •     Research/analyze data processing functions, methods and procedures

   •     Write functional & technical design documentation

   

Qualifications:

   •     Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

   •     7+ years of PL/SQL experience

   •     7+ years experience in software development, maintenance & support preferably at an enterprise level.

   •     APEX experience preferred but not required

   •     Basic knowledge on JAVA scripting & HTML preferred but not required

   •     3+ years experience with relational database design with Oracle

   •     3+ years experience with UNIX

   •     Ability to design and develop applications using Oracle PL/SQL technology.

   •     Strong understanding of SDLC/Agile concepts

   •     Self-starter with demonstrated initiative and a drive to deliver robust solutions using programmming standars.

   •     Good communication, comprehension and analytical skills

   •     Utility industry experience is a plus but not required
