Role: Oracle Apps DBA

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Washington-DC

 

Required:

Basic Qualifications

•        Minimum of 10 years Database Administration experience with administering and supporting multiple Oracle databases for performance critical, highly available systems on UNIX/Linux platform

•        Experience administering and working on Exadata platform.

•        Experience in Oracle 11g/12c Architecture, Configuration, and Administration

•        Experience with backup/restore functionality

•        Experience managing servers in large-scale, geographically diverse environments

•        Excellent SQL and DB performance tuning skills

•        Strong experience using OEM

•        Experience installing and managing RAC clusters with ASM

•        Experience supporting applications such as Peoplesoft and other large COTS.

•        Oracle Certified Professional certification is desired

•        Experience with Exadata is desired but not required.

•         Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
