Job Title : ETL Developer (Need Locals)

Location : Rockville, MD & Washington DC Metro

Duration : 6+ Months 

 

Candidates with strong ETL , SQL experience & Java/OOP experience are highly preferred.

 

Basic Qualifications :

 

ETL, SQL for back end data validation for large volumes of data, Basic Java programming, JUnit for Unit testing

 

Additional Skills :

 

Scala is nice to have as well as Spark

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications

·         Leverage industry ETL QA  best practices to design, test, implement and support multi-tier validation solution

·         Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area

·         Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment

·         Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

 QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

·         5+ years of ETL Testing/High Volume Data Validation experience; experience should include some exposure to commercial software development environments

·         Solid technically and a willing communicator

·         100% sold on SCRUM

·         Demonstrable QA/Testing experience should include…

·         Java/Scala

·         SQL

·         Spark (not required but huge plus)

·         Agile (should be able to show experience during discussion)
