Must Have Skills:

• 3+ years of Android development (published in app store or google play)
  
• BS in CS
  
• Java & backend services knowledge
  
• Application Security knowledge 

Responsibilities:

• Be a technical expert for our external facing client delivery team working to successfully integrate Visa’s digital products for Merchants, Partners, and Issuers. 
  
• Support Web and Mobile integration efforts and manage technical relationships with strategic mobile clients. 
  
• Help create reference implementations of all functionality prior to market release ensuring the functionality fulfills the documented business requirements and provide training to various teams. 
  
• Help to create prototypes, demos and proof of concepts for Visa digital products including Visa Checkout and Visa Tokenization Service to highlight best practices. 
  
• Work with Product and Technology teams to create technical requirements based off of business requirements. 
  
• Provide documentation and best practices to internal and external stakeholders. 
  

 

Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree (or equivalent job experience). 
  
• 6 years' development experience preferably in payments / retail banking / emerging mobile technologies. 
  
• Ability to code in any multiple languages (Java, PHP, Node.js, Python preferred). 
  
• Experience with Rest APIs and external services. Must have strong web service integration skills (REST, SOAP, SAML, Axis, etc.). 
  
• Expert in design and web development technologies (HTML/CSS, XML, JSON, Javascript, Jquery, Angular). 
  
• Solid knowledge, experience and background of mobile technology such as Native (iOS, Android), Hybrid, Mobile Web (HTML5), mobile operating systems and mobile industry standards as well as solid coding and design skills. 
  
• Experience with different Applications & Platforms (AWS, Bootstrap, Splunk, Hadoop, Photoshop, Android Studio, Xcode, Eclipse, Salesforce, etc.). 
  
• Ability to learn quickly and apply innovative techniques in a fast paced environment. 
  
• Passionate about emerging technology and using it to create innovative experiences. 
  
• Demonstrated strong problem solving, logic and analytical skills; ability to prioritize work and participate in a number of projects simultaneously. 
  
• Technical written and presentation communication skills are essential; must have experience presenting technical topics to customers. 
  
• Own the work you deliver whether working with cross-functional teams or individually; be self-driven to succeed. 
  
• Experience adhering and enforcing strict software quality coding standards and best practices including version control, issue tracking, continuous integration in a test driven development; experience with reviewing others’ code, delivering constructive criticism, and assisting developers with making changes/fixes.
