Job Description

Our client is seeking to add a C# MVC/ASP.NET Web Developer for one of their critical systems.   The successful candidate will be a self-starter, have experience ramping up quickly on large projects, work independently to understand business needs and use high-level requirements to produce quality working code.

Education: 4-yr College Degree preferably Information Systems or Computer Science

Skills Required

The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in multiple areas of applications development

Experience building enterprise applications using .NET with the following characteristics:

o   High Availability

o   Scalable performance

o   Service Oriented

§  Practical knowledge of service design, development and implementation

§  SOAP, REST

o   Loosely coupled integration

·         Experience with n-tier architecture development and web application development

·         Demonstrated experience developing complex n-tier application code:

o   HTML/CSS UI

o   MVC/ASP.NET

o   JavaScript Client-side

o   C# middle-tier

o   ADO.NET data-tier

o   Stored procedures and SQL database coding

·         Experience using DB2/LUW (preferred) or SQL Server databases.  Must be able to write native SQL without the use of a development tool.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers and subject matter experts

·         Flexible, team focused, with strong interpersonal skills

·         Experience developing applications using the waterfall and iterative methodologies

·         Ability to work from high-level business or technical requirements and perform analysis and research to arrive at a technical solution that will deliver the desired functional capabilities.

·         Ability to own assignments, formulate pertinent questions and work with team members to get the answers needed to complete assignments.

·         Excellent problem solving skills

·         Experience deploying applications and services in .NET environments
