SQL server developer
Miami, FL(local)
Job Function:
This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions using Microsoft’s SSIS, SSRS, and/or other technologies to support the health plan’s business operations and strategic plans. The person who fills this role will be responsible for understanding the business requirements documenting the technical specifications, developing software code, unit testing the software and related processes, deploying and storing the software code, troubleshooting reported defects, and resolving issues as needed.
Responsibilities
Perform advanced report development utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services
Design, code and test SQL Server Reporting Services components (User Interface, Middleware, Stored Procedures, Tables, etc.)
Utilize understanding of relational database concepts
Write SQL statements within stored procedures; perform database queries and analysis
Help in the design, implementation, verification, debugging, optimizing and maintenance of SQL Server database objects (database design, table design, index creation, stored procedures, views, functions, scripts, etc.) and processes for the application, reporting and interface modules
Adhere to published coding standards and documentation requirements
Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive data and provide good report of the data
Troubleshoot reported issues
Resolve coding defects
All other duties as assigned
