Job Title:  QA Lead

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Interview process: 1 hour technical phone, on-site

Rate: $30/Hr On C2C/1099

 

Important skills:

Tech – sold understanding of STLC and SDLC, functional testing

Soft – strong communication skills and good attitude

 

Must have:

Good understanding of STLC and SDLC

Working with offshore resources

Experience as a lead or senior ready for promotion

Hands on functional tester with experience managing multiple projects

Strong communication and organizational skills

 

Pluses:

Automation and performance testing

Publishing exp.

 

Day to Day: The lead will be essentially be the point of contact for projects and will work closely with business analysts and development. They typically be assigned 2-3 projects at a time. The role will be hands-on at first, as the lead learns the systems and then will transition into more of a mentoring role.
