Our client has partnered with us to build a Java development to customize and improve a legacy Java 6/7 point of sale application. This is a multi-year engagement and we seek team players willing to work in the Cincinnati market.
Our developers create and customize solutions to meet our clients technology needs, while gaining international experience with premier retailers and food service companies. Strong object oriented design and development and interpersonal skills are required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Following List of Skills/Experience Are Required:
Experience in the following technologies:
∙ Leadership experience – at least 1 year
∙ 10+ years of Java/J2EE experience
∙ Object oriented design and development, using Java
∙ Java (6/7) User Interface (AWT and Swing) Extensive experience with Swing is a MUST!
∙ J2EE development (JSP, HTML, XML, Struts)
∙ JDBC, SQL and RDBMS
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent experience required.
On-the-job software development experience required Java development knowledge and work experience is required Experience with object oriented design and programming
- Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communications
- SQL and relational database experience
- Must be able to obtain a valid passport
- Must be willing to travel when necessary
