This particular role involves product development as well as on-going production support and maintenance. Specifically, the ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of web-based applications built using Java and Spring Framework, as well as an excellent understanding of relational databases – including SQL, data models, stored procedures, and triggers. Database programming, troubleshooting, and optimization experience is essential. Candidates will be expected to become familiar with the client environment quickly and with little guidance and supervision, as well as be willing to assist in areas with which the candidate may not have experience.
Ideal candidates should have strong database development experience and good experience with Java
The candidate is expected to possess the following skills:

· Spring MVC
· Spring Security
· Hibernate
· Web Services Creation
· Web Services Consumption
· HTML/CSS
· JSP/JSTL
· JavaScript
· Sybase (could also be MS SQL, DB2, but Sybase preferable)

· DB Optimization (show plan, statistics IO, etc.)
· UNIX
· Shell Scripting
