Preferred:
· Experience rehosting databases across data centers
· Experience managing high-availability Terabyte database.
· Experience with upgrading from SQL2005/SQL2008R2 to SQL2012
· Experience in clustering, replication and mirroring
· Experience with database design, performance tuning and optimization
· Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
· Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Integration Services (SSIS)
· Experience troubleshooting and resolving database issues
· Solid understand of Windows Server
· Excellent communication/Documentation skills
Responsibilities:
· Design, create and maintain highly available and secure SQL Server database instances.
· Responsible for synchronizing and migrating data and database objects between development, Staging, UAT and production environments
· Setup, monitor, and maintain disaster recovery solutions for production databases, document updates and maintain database backup and recovery strategy
· Perform database performance analysis, capacity sizing and optimization, architecting solutions for replication, mirror and performance optimization.
Requirements:
· 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA
· Experience implementing SQL server 2012 with “always on” feature.
