Job Title : .Net Developer
Location : Rolling Meadows, IL
Duration : 12 Months Contract
Rate : $37/Hr on C2C/1099
All visa including OPT fine!
Job Description:
· Implement software solutions for manufacturing MES software.
· Understand complex manufacturing environments
· Design and develop software solutions using Microsoft technologies stack (C#, .NET, SQL server, Entity Framework)
· Understand customer requirements, overall architecture and key performance impact
· Azure experience, including migration of on-prem applications to cloud enablement
· Deep understanding of micro services and SOA architecture
· Able to work in distributed teams (geographically)
· Able to troubleshoot for complex problems
· Use creative thinking to find solutions with existing functionality
· Be a subject matter expert for particular software modules and be able to communicate orally and in writing to customers and non-technical staff
· Monitor and report progress to all stake-holders
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science
· Previous Experience with MES systems software
· 8+ year experience with C#, .NET, Entity Framework
· 8+ year experience with SQL server or PostgreSQL and data modeling
· 5+ year experience with Javascript, REACT/Angular, REST
· 4+ year experience with Azure cloud enablement and Azure services
· Experience working in Agile environment with focus on quality deliverables
· Experience writing design and architecture documents
Key Competencies:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, both technical and non-technical
· Analytical problem solver with a track record of managing complex technical projects
· Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and tools predominantly in Agile environment
· Highly motivated with a desire to help end users and solve business issues
· Able to juggle multiple projects to meet deliverables
· Identify creative and effective solutions to customer needs
