Job Title : Java/J2EE Developer
Location : Bedford, MA
Duration : 6 months contract
Job Description:
· To develop and deliver codes for the work assigned in accordance with time| quality and cost standards.
· To provide client support by presenting data, information, ticket resolution and day to day support activities like monitoring client requirements
· To provide support for enhancement (major and minor) or new developments based on business requirements as provided by the client as well as from the functional and technical team of HCL on the project.
· To provide technical guidance to junior developers
· To interact with the customer and internal teams to gather requirements for development purposes.
· To perform activities related to enhancement creation of documents for CMMi and client requirements
Skills: Healthcare industry application development is a critical requirement (insurance industry experience considered)
· 5+ years’ experience building custom applications with Java/J2EE programming
· Integration of 3rd party applications
· Web services: SOAP and WSDL
· Data/object mapping, import/export, and XML processing;
· Dependency injection, unit testing, design patterns
· Experience with Hibernate, Spring, and either Oracle or SQL Server database development preferred
· Team leadership and coaching skills; strong interpersonal communication skills.
