Position: QA Automation Engineer with UFT, Postman, Newman, Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Agile, SDLC
Location: West Chester, PA
Duration: 6+ month contract
Visa: ALL ( no OPT )
Local and semi local candidate only

• QA Automation Engineer will be involved throughout the development lifecycle of the product with particular responsibility in the quality assurance of software development and deployment with emphasis on development and implementation of test automation
• Works as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery
• Design, develop and support frameworks for our test infrastructure and provide automation expertise to our development teams with a strong emphasis on using code to solve technical challenges and shorten the test cycles through automation
• Estimate test efforts, Design and develop automation scripts, Execute automation scripts and report on them
• Document and maintain a robust log of all test cases and test results
• Provide regular feedback on the status of the deliverable
• Contribute toward predictable delivery of quality releases
• Work with Development, Test and Product Management to design and implement test and validation strategies.
• Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation
• Mentor team members on automation
• Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them
• Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality
• Contribute to the building of a continuous integration (CI) environment and ongoing process improvement activities.
Required:
• Strong background in, and at least 5+ years of working in tooling or QA automation
• Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in agile development environments
• Experience designing, developing and supporting test automation framework
• Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using UFT, Postman, Newman, Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins.
• Experience in automating batch jobs and MQ messages
• Proficient with bug tracking and test management toolsets to support development processes
• Proficient working with relational databases
• Enterprise level project delivery
• Proactive 'self-starter' attitude
