SRE with Heavy LINUX and JAVA environment background - advanced scripting, large environment
Need to know how to code in a language, ideally Python.
Need Linux Admin/DevOps Engineer.
Not looking for Windows Admins
Not looking for cloud experts…its fine if they have it but if that’s all they want to talk about and majority of their experience not the right fit.
Responsible for maintaining the computer systems, server management including installing, maintaining and upgrading the servers.
Will ensure the servers are backed up, and that the server data is secure from unauthorized access.
May also produce and create reports, charts, manuals proposals and perform light programming (scripting).
Must be able to plan, coordinate and implement software version changes and use utility tools to monitor elements of the system, such as memory, central processing unit (CPU) and program errors generated from a system or software problem.
Must also have knowledge in systems design and configuration. Strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
