Role – Video Architect/SME
Location – Waltham, MA

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
·Good technical knowledge and experience with Digital Content and Advertising systems for Linear, VOD and OTT video content.
·Experience in Web Services (SOAP, REST APIs), MPEG-2/MPEG-4 video transport streams, video encoding for SD, HD 720p, HD 1080i, Ultra HD/4K content.
·Preferable knowledge in following areas: Content ingestion, Metadata management, Content transcoding and storage, Workflow management, Ad Decision Systems (ADS), Ad insertion systems, SCTE-130 protocols, HTML5 and video clients on wireless, CE and STB devices.
·Knowledge and experience with DRM and encryption technologies such as PlayReady, Secure Media and others.
·Knowledge of CDNs, ABR video delivery (Apple HLS, Microsoft Smooth Streaming, MPEG DASH, HDS), and legacy video delivery (Progressive Download (PDL), Flash/RTMP).
·Knowledge of legacy Cable video content delivery, networks and systems for Live, Linear and VOD content.
·Reviewing project test bed designs and network connectivity
·Tracking the various system HW and SW inventories/release levels as needed to meet project testing requirements
