Senior Support Consultant / Lead Support Consultant

San Jose, CA

Duration : 6 Months

 

· At least 5 years in an IT role, with at least 2 years in technical support role

· Extensive experience as well as at least 3 years with working with RedHat or CentOS  Linux

· At least 2 years in a Web Server Support [Apache/Tomcat] role

· Proficient at creating support documentation

· Experience supporting java-based, 24x7 applications.

· Supported internally developed as well as 3rd party application

· DB Support [SQL, Oracle]

· Network Administration/Support (wired and wireless)

· Enterprise Infrastructure Support

· Ability to interpret application code in logs

 

Optional Bonus Qualifications

Some background in software development

Technical training on UNIX, Windows platform design and support

Strong working knowledge of scripting languages and programming methodologies
