JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead Compute System Administrator (Linux) with good virtualization experience
Must have experience in -
• Lead and managing a team of system admins across locations
• Required experience in
RHEL 5, 6, 7
VMWARE 5.X, 6.X,
EMC VMAX2, VMAX3,
SAN / NAS (NetApp CDOT, 7 Mode)
Experience working with UCS Servers
• Should be able to lead the team, engage with clients on strategic and operational initiatives, and manage work-products and delivery in following areas -
Compute Life cycle Management Support (ESX / FW / N1K Upgrades)
OS Patching (RHEL, CEL)
OS Upgrade (RHEL, CEL)
UCS builds and consolidation
Storage: SAN Migrations, NAS Migrations, de-allocations, consolidations
Storage Operational Capacity Management
Security and Compliance Management
ERMO Support
DB Refreshes Support
DB & PaaS Life cycle Management & CR Support:
Workload Migrations/Decom - ACI / DC Migrations, 12C upgrades etc.
CR Implementations (weekday and weekend support)
• Excellent Communication Skills
Nice to have experience in –
OpenStack
Scripting Language (Python, PERL etc.)
Good Analytical Skills
