Role:- Informatica Developer

Duration:- 6+ Months Contract

Location:-  Detroit, MI (Local)

 

Job Description:

Purpose of Role/Organizational Unit: This is a senior position that requires 10+ years of Informatica development. This organizational unit is responsible for managing the operational services delivery of the various elements of the Data Infrastructure including Informatica ETL Jobs.  In this capacity, this Senior Informatica ETL Developer role is responsible for code development within Informatica Tools.

 

Functions Performed:

The following functions are the responsibility of the Informatica ETL Developer within data management team.  This individual will be responsible to design and develop ETL jobs, perform code reviews, enhance standards, and performance tuning. 

 

Position Responsibilities

·         Has expertise in various Informatica suite v9 or higher of products: PowerCenter, PowerExhange(CDC), and Data Quality.

·         Expertise on ETL performance tuning

·         Design responsibility for Operational and Data Warehouse ETLs

·         Oracle and SQL knowledge is must

·         Experiences with various tools such as Informatica Data Quality and Profiler Tools, are preferred, but PowerCenter is must.

 

Skills Required:

·         Minimum of 10 years in Informatica tools and with focus in performance tuning

·         Experience with Informatica PowerCenter is a must have.

·         Creation of complex parallel loads and dependency creation using work flows

·         Data modeling and data mapping design experience

 

Unique Competencies: 

·         Required – 10+ years’ experience in Informatica PowerCenter

·         Preferred - Informatica PowerExchange (CDC), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica Data Services  v9 or higher tools architecture and design

 

Educational Requirements: 

·         Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
