QA for Phoenix, AZ - Need Locals

CANDIDATES LOCAL TO PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Tempe-1 and Gilbert-3)

Rate C2C: $45/hr on Max

Provide testing services for various applications to certify that they meet business and technical requirements. With supervision from team leads.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Analyzes testability of requirements ? Provides testing estimate ? Designs and prepares Test Strategies & Approach, testing metrics and other testing artifacts. ? Creates test cases based on requirements and conducts reviews with development team/business users. ? Prioritize and Executes functional tests and regression tests ? Reports defects, raises issues or concerns ? Participates in design meetings, risk analysis meetings ? Provides leadership and mentoring to junior staff, interns, and business testers ? Create and maintain quality assurance standards and processes. ? Monitor common business specific quality measurement frameworks and track improvement against predefined metrics. ? Plan and deploy software testing and project management processes based on the current methodologies of the company. ? Create and monitor quality assurance-related activities at both the program and project level to ensure appropriately planned and executed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology a related field or equivalent experience and or training.
6 - 8+ years software testing/QA experience
Good knowledge of testing methodologies (SDLC, Agile, etc.);
Web services testing using Soap UI a must
SQL knowledge to validate data.
Testing tools experience (MS Visual Studio, Team System, QC, Test Director, TFS, Mercury tools, SQL etc.)
Solid understanding of relational databases
Change agility, good verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented.
Demonstrates initiative, follow-through, sound business judgment.
Airlines experience - a plus
