Job description

We are looking for senior big data/Hadoop developer for developing and supporting Big Data solutions. The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

Work with client, understand their business needs and provide solutions meeting client needs

Design, implementation, testing and operational support of big data solutions to address customer’s requirement.

Work with internal/external stakeholders on various data sets(pharma domain) 

Co-ordinate onboarding of new data sets and running periodic jobs/workflows as part operational support.

Knowledge on ETL processing preferred.

Technical Skills Required:

8+ years of overall work experience.  Strong hands-on work experience in designing and implementing of big data solutions with following skills:

 

Programming Languages:            

Core Java(Mandatory),  JDBC, Spring, Struts, Hibernate

AWS (Mandatory):  S3, EC2, EMR, SWF, SQS/SNS

Distributed Data Processing:  Hadoop Map Reduce(In Core Java, Mandatory), HIVE, Spark, Flume, KAFKA

 

Databases:       

MySQL, Redshift (Mandatory),

Platform: Unix, Shell Scripting, Python, PL/SQL.
