Job Title: Linux Administrator w/ DevOps

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 4-6 Months Contract

 

Job Responsibilities:

Evaluate web site technologies and determine their disposition.

Identify Drupal and WordPress sites and help the web service owner to transition these to the Pantheon hosting service.

Identify 'static content' sites and help the web service owner move these to the new hosting service.

Move the rest of the sites hosted on the origin server to CLIENT hosted Virtual Machines.

Use automation technologies to configure and build the required VMs.

 

Requirements:

The consultant will have:

Demonstrated skill in developing web solutions using a LAMP environment, especially Perl and Python.

Demonstrated skill in managing and configuring apache web servers.

Experience with version control, GIT being the preferred technology

Experience with IT automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.

Familiarity with MySQL, relational databases and SAML.

Familiarity with virtualization and cloud based
