Position:        Mid-Level Windows Administrator with 4-5 years’ experience

Duration:     Long Term

Location:        McLean VA

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Interview: Phone then onsite (required)

Industry: finance/Mortgage

 

Purpose of position:

Provide Windows System Administration functions for Windows infrastructure, which includes:

·         Change Management

·         Ensures that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all changes to minimize the impact of change related incidents on service quality.

·         Configuration Management

·         verifying the OS baseline configurations

·         Service Level Management

·         Meet or exceed SLAs.

 

Execute the following types of operational changes:

·         Add or Modify Paging Space

·         Virtual CPU and memory Allocation

·         Change backup schedule configurations

·         extend filesystem

·         extend increase logical volume

·         Modify Ownership or Permissions

·         Start or stop a process from being started at boot time

·         Restore a file/filesystem that was removed
