- DevOps/Automation Engineer – Remote (USC/GC)
The Dev Ops/Automation
Engineer will have the responsibility to understand and resolve complex
technology patching and vulnerability challenges through automation. The
prospective candidate will be a strong technical resource in IT and security
domains with an exceptional hands-on subject matter expertise in IT automation,
patching, and vulnerability remediation.
This is a highly
visible technical Subject Matter Expertise role and the right candidate must
have strong communication skills with a team-oriented approach to address
vulnerabilities within established customer SLAs and standards.
Required skills
include:
- Demonstrated ability in patching and remediation for
complex software (e.g. Java, WebSphere)
- Strong experience in scripting languages including
PowerShell, Java, Perl or Python, PowerShell, C#, and/or ASP/ASP.NET
- Strong working knowledge of network, server, and
database technologies
- Hands on experience in cyber security domains
- Be the “go to” person for client technical leadership
for patching and vulnerability and remediation through automation
- Professional experience including a minimum of 8-10
years of experience in a senior technical position
Desired skills
include:
- Hands on experience on cloud, application security,
managed security services
- Hands on experience in vulnerability management and
tools including Qualys, etc.
- Hands on experience in defining and designing security
controls
- Work effectively with onsite, offshore and cross
functional application and infrastructure teams
- Strong project planning skills and working
collaboratively within teams
- Strong verbal and written communication, influencing,
and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Key certifications like CISSP / CEH / CISA / CISM
