Must-Have Skills –

·         Hadoop Architecture

·          Hortonworks Distribution

·         Map reduce program understanding

·          Hive Query Language with performance optimization skill

·          Pig, Sqoop, Hbase

·          Java Debugging Knowledge

·          Linux Shell Scripting

Good to Have

·          Kafka

·          Storm

·          Accumblo

·          Shark and Spark

·          Data warehouse & Telecom understanding

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

·          Manage the operation of a Hortonworks Cluster of around 450 + nodes and also manage the other lower environments.

·          Admin, Install & Build of Cluster as required

·          Handling user tickets related to cluster issue

·          Performance Improvement of user’s queries

·          Cluster Outage management during crisis
