Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Portal Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM), with a strong background in developing and customizing ServiceNow portals. This is a remote position based in the USA.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow portals to meet the specific needs of our organization.

2. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

3. Implement best practices for portal development and ensure adherence to coding standards.

4. Integrate ServiceNow portals with other IT systems and applications as needed.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to portal functionality and performance.

6. Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

8. Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates and new features, and assess their impact on existing portals.

9. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. 8+ years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM).

3. Extensive experience with ServiceNow portal development, including UI policies, UI actions, and client scripts.

4. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.

5. Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems using APIs and web services.

6. Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices for IT service delivery.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

8. ServiceNow Developer and/or Implementation Specialist certification is preferred.

9. Experience working in a remote environment is a plus.
