Job Title: Tableau Developer
Duration: Somerset, NJ
Location: 6+ Months
Job Responsibilities:
Develop dashboards using Tableau software 8.x and 9.x versions
Familiar with Java scripts and API's
Experience using Tableau desktop and server; Strong SQL skills
Gather requirements, specifications and various other data sets that are needed and convert them to Tableau dashboards
Designs and creates data views from SQL Server database
Analyze data from backend databases to determine usable, relevant data needed to create dashboards
Actively participate in requirement sessions for reporting requirements and other architecture discussions
Design user interface dashboards and scorecard solutions and effectively utilize visualization techniques
Skills and Experience Required:
Technical Skills:
Experience with Tableau 8.x and 9.x Business Intelligence software
Experience with SQL Server 8.2 and above
Microsoft Office proficiency
Non-technical skills:
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Ability to communicate at various levels within the organization
Desired Skills:
Tableau certification
