Position : DevOps Engineer

Location : Cincinnati, OH

Duration : 6+ Months

 

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who is comfortable with automating and maintaining on-prem and cloud systems. Our mission is to architect redundant, resilient, scalable, self-sustaining, and self-healing systems and we utilize a variety of tools to do so. The ideal candidate will have superb troubleshooting skills, passion for automating everything, and a sense of ownership.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

•             Previous experience in DevOps engineering, IT Operations, Software Development or related fields

•             Mastering of CI\CD concepts and hands on implementation experiences managing pipelines in both on-prem and cloud environments. Knowledge of specific tools like GitHub, TeamCity, Artifactory, Sonarqube, and Azure DevOps a plus.

•             Previous experience with Infrastructure as Code and related tools

•             Understanding of Software Development concepts, including experience writing code (i.e. - Python, Java, JavaScript, shell scripting, etc.)

•             Fundamental knowledge of Cloud Computing providers and systems

•             “Automation First” mindset to identify and streamline tasks

•             Demonstrated experience managing live software solutions for enterprise customers

•             Knowledge of Agile methodologies (i.e. - Scrum)

•             Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

•             Ability to prioritize and multitask

•             Understand, implement, and support Continuous Delivery (CD)

•             Understand, implement, and support Dependency and Artifact Management

•             Understand, implement, and support Application Infrastructure

•             Apply Monitoring and Alerting concepts to systems for early detection and resolution of issues

•             Collaborate with development teams to maximize efficiency and improve velocity of deploying software solutions

•             Automation of tasks to improve velocity and quality of development lifecycle
