Title : Manufacturing Engineer

Location : Northridge, CA

Duration : 6 months

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• An initial activity would include taking on a CAPA project at the Root Cause Level and Developing a go forward Action Plan. 
• Will head up this CAPA activity (& Team) to drive it to an effectiveness closure within 12 months. 

 

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: 

• Develop/implement production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in a most cost efficient manner.
• Investigates and resolves work-in-process problems.
• Recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related matters.
• May be required to monitor assigned operations to assure compliance with approved methods and standards.
• Able to work in a dynamic environment to drive to completion critical CAPA initiatives.
• Must have the ability and skills to work on a team which has representatives from multiple departments and disciplines in order to complete business critical projects.
• Must have excellent technical & analytical skills combined with the ability to effectively communicate project updates to peers and management.
