Oracle Database Administrator

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Irvine, CA (Remote)

Rate: $65/hr c2c /1099 all inclusive

Must have Oracle Database Cross Platform Migration experience

Role and Responsibility:

· Understand customers business needs and requirements. Analyze business requirements of assigned customers and/or project(s)

· Provide expertise in Installation, configuration and Migration of Oracle server software and related products

· Lead and assist in technical trouble shooting

· Communicate issues and status information to the DBA Lead concerning service delivery activities

· Migration of Oracle Databases from Solaris SPARC to Solaris X86 Platform

· Review for Recurring Issues and perform root cause analysis.

Required Skills

· Minimum 9+ years total experience

· Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Oracle Database administration

· Minimum 5 years’ experience with Oracle 11g/12c administration with RAC and ASM

· Experience in working in Unix/Linux Platforms

· Database and SQL performance tuning

· Shell Scripting

· RAC Cloning/Refresh

· RMAN

· Good written & Verbal Communication

Preferred Skills:

· Experience in using RMAN XTTS (Cross platform Transportable Tablespaces)

· OEM

· Standby/Data guard config and maintenance

· Good Documentation Skills
