Ideal
candidate will perform the role of Scrum Master (50%) and Release Train
Engineer (50%)
Guide
and coach the teams on the Agile Release Train on Scrum practices and
develop their understanding of Agile principles
Help
define norms/agreements for the ART and enforce the agreements
Coordinate
and facilitate ART ceremonies (for example, Backlog Refinement, Program
Increment (PI) Planning, ART Sync or PO Sync, Scrum of Scrums), System
Demos, and Retrospective.
In
collaboration with the Product Manager, ensure the program has a healthy
product/program backlog
Facilitates
daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration
retrospective
Manage
the engineering development projects and facilitates sprint releases
Create or analyze business requirements documents and project timelines
Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimates
Drive
team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders,
protects the team from uncontrolled injection of work (changes are
evaluated/intentional)
Manage
project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep
operations running at a high performance
Able
to do postmortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously
improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity
Leads
team effort in relentless improvement, define and implement improvement
stories to increase the velocity and quality of the program Implement and
support principles, rules and processes
Proactively
identify and eliminate impediments and facilitate flow
Facilitate
dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the ART
Promote/facilitate
communication and collaboration within the ART to support value delivery
and PI commitments
Responsible
for providing status updates and reporting pertaining to ART
plans/delivery/timelines/impediments to stakeholders and leadership
Ensure
Enterprise Change Management and other policy requirements for technology
solutions are met for the epics/features delivered by the ART
Measure
ART delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the
ART to identify improvement opportunities
Capture
data to help determine/track product funding and resource acquisition
needs
Should
have good understanding of Application Architecture
Certified
SAFe RTE and/or Certified SAFe Agilist
Certified
Scrum Master
Experience
working in large organizations, ideally Financial Services
