Looking only local to AZ

 

Breakdown of responsibilities:

- MVC, Java, JQuery - Web Application Development (70%)

- MS SQL queries, stored procedures (10%)

- Application Design (10%)

- Testing, QA, Documentation (10%)

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The State of Arizona is looking for a full time Microsoft .NET developer to assist in a highly visible and time critical web development effort. This project will include gathering business requirements, system design, development, testing and implementation. This role requires the individual to be self-motivated and proactive as a key member of a small team.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• 5+ years' experience developing in a Microsoft environment

• 5+ years' experience in .NET C#

• 5+ years' experience writing queries and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server.

• 5+ years' experience writing interactive web applications using ASP.NET

• 2+ years' experience with MVC and Entity Framework

• 2+ years' experience with Team Foundation Server

• Experience with HTML, DHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and JQuery

• Experience with, XML, XSL, JSON, SOA, SOAP, WebAPI and/or Web Services

• Proven experience delivering large, complex projects with heavy business requirements

• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented design and development

• Ability to work closely with staff at all levels throughout the entire process
