Job Description:
Role – Unix/Linux system Admin
Location – Alpharetta, GA
Client: TCS
Essential competencies
- Linux (Redhat/Centos/Suse) / Solaris / AIX
- Experience with monitoring systems (nagios, check_mk, etc.)
- Experience in Logging framework - ex: Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana (ELK)
- Experience with System Integration to bind and orchestrate the system infrastructure with the application layer to enable High Availability/Clustering load balancing and integration
- Loadbalancer Experience F5, Apache2 Web Server, Nginx is a plus
- Experience 15 years + with bash scripting, perl, ruby, etc.
- Troubleshooting capabilities including Wireshark, network taps, etc.
- Python, Ruby, shell or other systems programming (moderate skills required, extensive preferred)
- Experience with configuration management systems (Chef, Puppet)
- Experience rolling out redundant, mission-critical applications
- Experience with version control systems (Git - Stash, SVN)
- Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, etc), Artifactory (or Nexus)
- Excellent written communication, problem solving, and process management skills
- Experience with agile development, continuous integration and automated testing
- Experience with infrastructure as code platforms-Chef/Puppet
- Experience provisioning, maintaining and scaling solutions, that utilize Big Data technologies like Hadoop, MongoDB, Kafka, Rabbitmq, Zookeeper, Spark, etc.
- Experience with platform technologies like PostgresSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Tomcat, MongoDB, WebSphere, etc
- Practical experience configuring Continuous Integration and/or Continuous Delivery pipelines.
- Involved with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
