Partner in a team environment or be able to independently design, develop, code, test and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing software of moderate complexity.  Develop solutions across many disciplines and be responsible for explaining solutions and procedures.  Apply principles, theories and concepts and use methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects related to moderately complex software.  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.

Must have:

• 3 or more years of software development experience

• Java script (preferably server side) 

• Unix

• Java

• OO design understanding

• Structured Query Language (SQL)

• Ability to identify and communicate road-blocks to current development

• Effective written communication skills (e.g. to be able to independently generate appropriate SEP documentation)

• Eclipse development environment familiarity

• Web Logic Server configuration familiarity

• Concurrent Versions System (CVS)

Would like to have:

• Motive Model Builder

• Motive Overlay Builder

• Motive Home Device Manager (HDM)

• Motive Service Management Platform (SMP)

• Broadband Forum TR-069 & TR-098 understanding

• Understanding of DSL network

• Ability to read packet captures from the network
