Position: Chef Developer/Infrastructure Automation
Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 6+ month contract

Chef Developer/Infrastructure Automation
- Certification in one of the following is helpful:
Chef Developer OR Basic Chef Fluency Badge.
- Must have experience with AWS Cloud services such as EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, ELB, AMI, SNS, RDS, Redshift, IAM, Route 53, Auto scaling, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, Cloud Formation, Security Groups.
- Experience in executing knife commands and testing the recipes on different platforms using test kitchen
- Expertise in the following areas of Chef concepts like Chef server, Workstations, Nodes, Chef Clients and various components like Super Market, Test Kitchen, Food Critic.
- Experience in configuring monitoring and distributing multi-platform servers using chef, Chef Server and workstation to manage and configure nodes
- Must be an expert in writing different type of cookbooks to automate infrastructure on both windows and Linux
- platforms.
- Experience with Gitlab as Source code management and build jobs with CICD Pipeline.
- Experience with nexus as artifact repository for storing cookbook and pulling application packages to attribute file.
- Experience using AWS instances as a node in both windows and Linux platforms for testing the cookbook locally by using the test kitchen.
- Experience with chef compliance for compliance testing and chef analytics for reporting the statistics.
- Experience with uploading cookbooks to chef server and internal super market by using the berks upload.
