Job Title: Ruby on Rails Developer
Location: Camden, NJ
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Position Summary
The lead front-end developer will be in charge of both maintaining the sites’ functionality on a day-to-day basis, as well as implementing new features and designs on an ongoing basis.
The front-end developer will work closely with our back-end developer daily.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance of front-end functionality.
Implementation of new design concepts.
Implementation of new features.
Working with back-end developer to synchronize data from our database to our site.
Enhance user interface and experience.
Essential Qualifications
Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, Basic Java Script, and JQuery
Ability to work with responsive designs (i.e. making website functional on both on desktop and mobile views)
Ability to slice images and implement on the site.
Necessary Attributes
Passion for sports not required, but helpful.
Keen attention to detail.
Must be accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlines.
Must be motivated to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ruby/Ruby on Rails
PostgreSQL
Design/UI ○ HTML, CSS
Basic JavaScript / JQuery
Responsive Design (“looks good on all screen sizes”) Front-End (App)
