Complete Description:
Uses expertise in network technologies and server management to assist with day to day operations, network design, deployment and support.
Analyzes business and technical requirements for network infrastructure and creates design and implementation documents.
Designs and builds infrastructure based solutions related to network security (Active Directory), SAN storage, communications networks, disaster recovery (backups) and resource monitoring.
Expert knowledge in IT infrastructure design and architecture across multiple distributed computing technologies.
Expertise to manage and administer SAN, NAS, SAS and DASD resources.
Expertise to manage and administer VMware environments.
Build in depth work plans for all assignments (tasks, timelines, owners), provide detailed status updates and produce comprehensive project documentation.
Create and maintain documentation and diagrams on network infrastructure, hosting infrastructure and backup and network monitoring.
