Position: Sybase Developer
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Pasadena, CA
JOB DESCRIPTION
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years developing and maintaining Sybase Transact-SQL stored procedures and triggers
• Superior knowledge in relational database concepts, data modeling, and schema design
• Extensive experience in optimizing database queries and stored procedures
• Experience with UNIX/Windows shell scripting languages
• Experience with CVS/Subversion
• Experience with Autosys a plus
• Production Sybase administration and performance tuning experience a plus
BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
• Strong written and verbal English skills
• Proficiency in planning and estimating work from multiple concurrent projects
• Highly self-motivated and attention to details
Financial industry experience a must
