Job Description:

1) Solid, hands-on Hadoop administrator experience

2) Firm knowledge of HDFS and MapReduce (preferably MapR distribution. Not Required)

3) Experience in configuring Flume, Sqoop, Hive, Pig, H-base, and FairScheduler & other Hadoop Ecosystem tools.

4) Experience in Hadoop & ecosystem patches&upgrades, excellent bash scripting, troubleshooting Hadoop Job failures and cluster issues.

5) Experience setting up clusters, preferably from the ground up.

6) Experience maintaining and monitoring clusters

7) A firm handle on  system administration issues within the Hadoop ecosystem and associated components such as Flume, Sqoop, Hive, Pig, and HBase, Datameer, Talend.
