Position:        Systems Analyst

Duration:     12 Months Contract

Location:        Greenville, SC

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

 

Qualifications:

Systems Analysis

•               Reviewing and translating all system and application documentation (codebase, code comments, diagrams, readme files, help files, etc.) into technical documentation (system designs, UML diagrams, white papers, etc.) of the transitioning product.

•               Reviewing and editing existing technical documentation to ensure clarity and correctness of the transitioning product.

•               Functionally analyzing (working within) systems and applications to create or update end-user documentation for the transitioning product.

•               Collaborating with the system and application SMEs (subject matter experts) in order to document all knowledge regarding the transitioning product.

•               Additional tasks that are to be covered within the scope of this RFP/Q are, but not limited to: taking meeting minutes, scheduling project meetings, gathering technical requirements, entering project tasks, tracking and documenting 3rd level escalations.

 

Systems Analyst

•         Strong understanding of System Development Life-Cycle and Project Methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall)

•         Strong data modeling and system analytical skills

•         Strong testing capabilities a must; detail-oriented person required

•         Strong proficiency in documenting process flows, use cases, functional requirements, UML diagrams, user-stories, etc.

•         Familiarity with the Android frameworks, Java and Java frameworks.

•         Familiarity with iOS and Objective-C.

•         Proficiency with the following tools: Excel, Word, Visio/Omnigraffle, PowerPoint

•         Familiarity with the following tools is preferred: Jira, Remedy ITSM

•         Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment is a must.

 

Educational Requirements:

·         BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

 

Experience Requirements:

 

·         6+ years experience as a Systems Analyst

·         2+years experience as a Systems Analyst/Developer for mobile technology (specifically iOS)

·         2+ years experience as a Systems Analyst/Developer, for web technology (specifically Java) is a plus

·         2+years experience as a Systems Analyst/Developer for mobile technology (Windows or Android) is a plus

·         2+years experience as a Systems Analyst/Developer for .NET solutions is a plus
