Role: Senior Java Developer

Location: New York City, NY

Duration: 6 months

 

Responsibilities:

• Work with business analyst to ensure full understanding of the requirements
• Provide document solution design for review and approval by principal engineers
• Ensure that the deliverables meet all the specified functional and performance requirements.
• Able to perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong experience in Spring framework
• Strong experience in Messaging services (JMS, Websphere MQ, Tibco or Solace)
• Strong experience in writing SQL & PL/SQL functions, procedures
• Experience in webservices (Rest, SOAP)
• Experience with FIX protocol
• Knowledge of trading systems, foreign exchange or derivatives is a must
