Below are the Position Details:
Position: Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6+ month contract W2 or 1099
AIRLINES EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS!
Senior Project Manager with at least 10+ years
of
experience working on medium to
large-scale
infrastructure projects ranging from end-user
device
field deployments, server/VM, storage,
network
LAN/WAN, telecommunications/Voice, and
back-end
data center implementation all to support
application
development, remediation, and go-live.
Required skills:
• Proven ability to clearly and effectively
communicate
business and technical information in both oral
and
written form
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of
a
diverse, moderately complex to complex
infrastructure
project to successful conclusion,
including:
o Requirements gathering
o Project planning (schedule,
dependencies,
resourcing, etc.),
o Managing and coordinating the efforts of
multiple
infrastructure engineering teams/resources
(server,
network, operations, etc.),
o Managing scope and dependencies, and
o Identifying/mitigating/resolving issues
• Proven track record of managing/coordinating
multiple
concurrent infrastructure projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
with
proven ability to build credibility, establish
rapport, and
maintain alignment with stakeholders at multiple
levels,
including those external to the
organization
• Experience developing standard deliverables
including
project charters, detailed work plans,
schedules,
infrastructure cost and labor estimates,
resource plans
and status reports
• Experience in project schedule/budget tracking
and
analysis, and conducting effective in person and
virtual
project meetings with local and remote team
members.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft
Project
• A detail-orientation, dedication, and ability
to work
under pressure in a fast- paced
environment
Desired skills:
• PMP Certification
Position will be located in the Willis Tower
offices in
downtown Chicago. Light travel may be required,
if
necessary it would be to our OPC location
and
customer facing as needed but this will be
minimal
(Houston or other hubs are a possibility).
