Role:- Java with Hadoop

Duration:- 6+ Months Contract

Location:-  Richmond, VA

 

Job Description

·              Hadoop (Mandatory)

·              Core Java

·              Redesign extract, refine and load process.

·              Coding and unit testing HQL and Shell Scripts.

·              Build consolidated report using shell, perl and html for audit (operational purposes).

·              Integrate and automate Hadoop ETL process with help of in house automation tool AUTOMIC.

·              Monitor Hadoop cluster performance and suggest scope of improvements.

·              Project monitoring and reporting.

·              Coordinating with onshore/offshore to ensure 24X7 support

·              As a Developer, you are responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of complex components of a project module.

·              You should be able to work as an independent team member, capable of applying your own judgment in the areas of software development.

·              You should have thorough knowledge of at least one development technology/ programming language, and the related tools.
