Subject: Looking for P4/P5 Strategic Planners & Economists to serve in 131 RC Offices – new talent roster launch

 

Dear UNSDG members,

 

DCO has launched a major recruitment drive to build a roster of Strategic Planners and Economists at the P5 and P4 level to serve in one of our 131 RC Offices around the world. The P5 level posts will normally also be the head of the RC Office.

 

We are very keen to have strong agency candidates in the roster given the role of these offices in support of UN Country Teams. We also believe running an RC Office would be excellent experience for upcoming future agency field representatives as well as future Resident Coordinators, Humanitarian Coordinators and the like.

 

We hope we can count on your support to circulate these vacancies widely in your organizations, appealing particularly to mid-career colleagues with promise. We hope to be fielding 100+ of these positions between July and September of this year hence the need to build a pre-screened roster from which candidates can be drawn rather than attempting to recruit for each post individually.
