Brief about War Child UK
o    War Child UK is a child protection agency working in Uganda, Iraq, Afghanistan, DRC and Bosnia. In Uganda, we are currently operating in Pader, Agago District in Northern Uganda and Kaabong, Kotido and Soroti districts in north eastern Uganda.
o    We work with acutely marginalised children affected by social exclusion, poverty and the consequences of conflict, to address the rights violations and deficits they face. This usually means working with orphans and other vulnerable children such as children affected by HIV/AIDS, disabled children, street and working children, children formerly associated with fighting forces, and children in conflict with the law. We work through local partners and promote the meaningful participation of children and other stakeholders.
o    We have recently established a new programme in Kotido and Soroti Districts in North Eastern Uganda and have secured support from FAO and TSO to provide capacity buildng to the Local Government staff and junior farmer field schools for children affected by the conflict.

We are, therefore, looking for someone competent to field for the position of M & E Officer based in Pader.
